Container Solutions for Your Industry

Every industry places its own demands on protection, standards, climate control, noise, conductivity, or explosion protection. We develop container solutions that account for these requirements as early as the design and fit-out phase—for fast commissioning and predictable project timelines.

Containers from Metallbau Emmeln—Your Benefits

As a manufacturer with extensive in-house production capabilities, we deliver more than a shell: we provide a well-engineered complete solution—from design and structural calculations to fit-out options and documented quality—aligned with your industry and your standards requirements.

Dimensions and design are precisely adapted to the project, site, and equipment. Custom dimensions up to 5,000 mm overall width and 3,650 mm height can be manufactured in one piece and transported by road.

The fully welded design provides high stability as well as long-term weather resistance and watertightness. The roof is designed so that water drains in a controlled manner along the sides— gutters are not required.

Floor solutions with insulation, an anti-slip surface, and optional WHG-compliant design. A raised floor (600 x 600 mm grid, F30 upon request) enables clean, easily accessible cable routing and fast maintenance.

In-house electrical systems in accordance with VDE 0100 as well as HVAC and ventilation technology (based on VDI 2078) can be integrated. Fire detection and extinguishing systems in accordance with DIN EN 15004 are also possible—aligned with the industry, site, and safety concept.

Design based, among other standards, on Eurocode 3 / DIN EN 1993 and CE-compliant. Manufacturing in accordance with DIN EN 1090-2 with production monitoring; material certificates and manufacturer certifications are available. Offshore requirements in accordance with DNV 2.7-1/2.7-2 as well as CSC under ISO 668 can be implemented.

Corrosion protection in accordance with DIN EN 12944, classified between C3 and C5—depending on environmental conditions and desired protection duration (from 2 to more than 15 years).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Our containers are designed, among other standards, in accordance with Eurocode 3 / DIN EN 1993 and manufactured in CE-compliant form. Production is carried out in accordance with DIN EN 1090-2 with monitoring. Offshore applications under DNV 2.7-1 / 2.7-2 as well as CSC certification under ISO 668 can be implemented.

Yes. Each container is engineered for the specific project—in dimensions, structural design, floor structure, insulation, doors, openings, and interior fit-out. Equipment such as HVAC and ventilation technology, electrical installation in accordance with VDE 0100, as well as fire detection and extinguishing systems in accordance with DIN EN 15004 can be integrated.

Lead time depends on the project scope and equipment package. Compared with permanent structures, container solutions can be implemented significantly faster. Delivery times of approximately 12–20 weeks are usually possible.

Container solutions enable rapid implementation without conventional construction timelines. Technology can be preassembled and tested at the factory, significantly reducing installation and commissioning times on site. Containers are also modularly expandable and can be relocated or reused as needed.

Switchgear cabinets, transformers, generator sets, converters, control technology, HVAC systems, ventilation, lighting, as well as fire detection and extinguishing systems can be integrated. Foundation frames and raised floors enable clean and accessible internal cabling.

Corrosion protection is applied in accordance with DIN EN 12944 and designed between classes C3 and C5—depending on environmental conditions and desired protection duration (from 2 to more than 15 years).
